Hello Sweets!

My name is Lindsey, and I share my life, loves, and handiwork on my blog Out Of Alabaster. Kim was nice enough to invite me over to share a little bit about myself..

This is my little family. It might seem small to some, but it fills my heart to overflowing.

I struggled with infertility for four years before we were blessed with our daughter, Selah. Her name is from the book of Psalms; it's a phrase used between verses to mark where the musicians should pause and reflect on the words that they just sang. It is used to mark a moment of worshipful breath, and that is exactly what Selah has been in our lives, a delighfully fresh, worshipful breath! You can read a a little more about our journey through this time on my blog.

Out Of Alabster has been the perfect outlet for me to pause and reflect about my own life, and share with you all what I'm still learning! My heart is unfortunately passionate, and my feet love to jump right into whatever puddle stands in my way. Laughs are a guaranteed.

When I'm not chasing down my speed-crawler, I also run an Etsy Shop, selling custom silhouette portraits.I feel honored to create each portrait, and I get a special sense of satisfaction knowing that they will be treasured for years to come. Creating these has truly made me appreciate beauty in a new way, and I cherish the opportunity to hilight the Lord's creation.
